Hello Lochburn Families,

As we recognize Black History Month, our school community reflects on the history, culture, and contributions of Black individuals whose perseverance, leadership, and excellence have shaped our nation and our world. This month invites us to learn with respect, act with integrity, and honor the voices and experiences that strengthen our community.

It also reminds us of our shared responsibility to show dependability in standing up for equity and inclusion every day. Below, our principal shares a message as we celebrate Black History Month and reaffirm our commitment to the PRIDE values that guide who we are and who we strive to be. As we step into second semester, we have a lot of exciting things happening within the life of our Lochburn community. Please see below for some important dates and announcements:

Quarter 2 Honor Roll Assembly is Tuesday, February 10th

If your student made the honor roll, please expect an invitation to our honor roll celebration. Each grade level has a different presentation time, with 6th grade beginning at 1:00pm

Winter 2 sports are Girls Soccer and Boys Basketball! Registration is all online via Final Forms

Winter 2 coaches/parent meeting for Girls Soccer and Boys Basketball is February 12th via Zoom at 6:00pm

There will be no school February 13th or February 16th in observance of President’s Day

Clubs are happening Monday-Thursday! Please encourage your student to join a club or sport this semester.
